Hello everyone!!!
I'm back at it again, attempting to revamp my blog and to get back into the swing of things! Since I started this blog, I've gone through lots of changes, nothing that I can't handle. Which is normal, life throws you for a loop at times, but as the saying goes, "God doesn't put more on you than you can bear"! I am on a fitness journey as well, I've only begun within the last month. I have a coach who is helping me with my meal planning and I've started my exercise regimen. I will be posting pictures!
I've big chopped twice since starting my blog, colored my hair several times and I'm still loving this journey I'm on. Also, in that time I've inspired three people in my life to go natural, both my daughters and my mother! I've also have been making my own shea butter souffle for my hair and body.
From this day on, I plan on posting at least three times a week, to talk about what's going on with me and my hair and life of course! Meanwhile, why not check out my Amazon store, where you can find some of my favorites.
See you soon!

New Year & New Me!!
Good afternoon world!!! It's been a minute since I've had time to come on here. I can't believe it's been so long! I have had a lot of changes in my life since I've been here, my youngest (21 year old) moved back to New York to pursue her dreams!! She misses home of course and wants to give in at times, but I keep telling her if you give up now, you will most certainly regret it! She's doing great so far and I'm very proud of her! For myself, I've been busy trying to pursue my dream. I have started a little cupcake/baking business. It's still in the very beginning stages, but I have been keeping busy with orders. I am still natural and loving my kinky, coily locks!
Just the other night, I purchased a pair of Wahl clippers and proceeded to shave the sides and back of my hair and trimmed a lot of the hair that I left on top of my head! I needed a change... so far, I'm loving it. Just figuring out some new styles for my new cut!! This is my birthday month as well, so I figured why not give this blogging thing another try. Hoping to blog weekly at least 2 or three times a week. Til then, stay blessed and have a wonderful weekend!!! Peace & Love!!

Thankful!
Good day my fellow naturals!! It's been a long while since I've posted anything... I have been so busy with life, I don't get a chance to come on here to write. Hopefully, that will change. I have been working on starting my business, which has to to with baking/catering. I'm so excited about this venture, working on all the legal aspects of getting it up & running. So, keep me in your prayers that everything goes as planned!
As for my natural hair journey, I am still loving it. Currently I'm participating in KinkyCurlyCoilyMe! Castor Oil Challenge, I am loving the results so far, I'm noticing a difference even though it's just the third week! I've been using Jamaican Black Castor Oil, I've been using it in my conditioner when I co-wash, and also used it as a pre-poo. It really made my hair so soft & easier to detangle when it came time to detangle it in the shower. I also massage on my scalp every other day. So far, so good! This challenge ends in December, so I'll keep you posted. See you later.
Peace & Favor!

Great Hair Day!
Good afternoon my fellow naturals!
Hoping everyone is having a fabulous day. Today was a scorcher today, even with the weather so hot & humid, my hairstyle today turned out great. My day was really uneventful, which is a good thing, I'm so looking forward to this weekend! Hopefully I'll be getting me some crabs, I love the DMV in the summer!

Happy Tuesday Afternoon My Fellow Naturals!
Good afternoon! It's been a long time since my last posting and I apologize for it (for the few of you that do check out my blog) much appreciated. The last couple of month have been crazy for me. We just moved this month, so that's been kind of hectic. Also, last week in the midst of moving, I took a fall and landed directly on my knee, nothing broken thank God, but I ended up w/ a contusion on the lower part of my knee. So, I am now wearing a splint for just a week, so I am counting my blessings because I know it could have turned out a lot worse.
Any-who, back to the subject @ hand... HAIR!!! I am truly loving my hair journey. I celebrated my year anniversary since my big chop last June. The bald spot is growing black slowly but surely, my hair is so healthy now too. I dusted my ends last month, which made a great difference in how my hairstyles turned out. Of course I'll be posting some pics of the different styles that I've done over the last two months. I have also been supporting my product junkie habit :) I've purchased so many new items, it's crazy! LOL! Lastly, I finally got around to making my very own Fluffy Whipped Shea Butter mixture for my hair. I purchased some organic unrefined Shea butter from Butters-n-Bars, the oils that I added were Sweet Almond Oil, Castor Oil, Vegetable Glycerin and a little Coconut Oil. I also added some sweet orange essential oil, just to give the butter mixture a favorable scent.
Well, that's all for now, I'll return sometime this week!
Peace & Luv

Bright Future
It's been a long while since I've been able to post on here. Gonna get back in the swing of things real soon. I am in the middle of moving. I'm thankful for the many blessings that have come my way the past couple of weeks. The last time I posted on here, I was talking about my bald spot that I noticed, the hair is coming in nicely, so glad it's in spot where my hair can cover it up.
This past weekend I had the opportunity to attend DMV's National Natural Hair Meet-Up Day! I had an awesome time and met some great people and ALL the speakers were VERY informative. I am truly enjoying my journey with this natural hair, even the lil bald spot, LOL! ;)
I was keeping up with the CG method, but I've been changing it up a bit and I wanted something cute for the NNHMD event that was coming up. what I came up with you all have probably seen in a dozen pictures, but I loved my interpretation of the style. Pics will be posted.
I will definitely be back next week, thanks for coming by to check me out!
