New Year & New Me!!

Good afternoon world!!! It's been a minute since I've had time to come on here. I can't believe it's been so long! I have had a lot of changes in my life since I've been here, my youngest (21 year old) moved back to New York to pursue her dreams!! She misses home of course and wants to give in at times, but I keep telling her if you give up now, you will most certainly regret it! She's doing great so far and I'm very proud of her! For myself, I've been busy trying to pursue my dream. I have started a little cupcake/baking business. It's still in the very beginning stages, but I have been keeping busy with orders. I am still natural and loving my kinky, coily locks! 

Just the other night, I purchased a pair of Wahl clippers and proceeded to shave the sides and back of my hair and trimmed a lot of the hair that I left on top of my head! I needed a change... so far, I'm loving it. Just figuring out some new styles for my new cut!! This is my birthday month as well, so I figured why not give this blogging thing another try.
